From time to time we are required to make changes to the transactional limits and restrictions that are applied to our cards. Following a recent period of review, we have determined that a number of changes are required in order to ensure that we are keeping with best practice in the evolving market conditions.
What are these changes?
1. The maximum cumulative load limit for unverified cardholders will be reduced from $2,500/€2,500/£2,000 to $250/€250/£200 (or equivalent). This limit is the combined limit across all of your plastic and virtual cards on our program.
2. Unverified cardholders will only be able to withdraw up to a maximum cumulative limit of $100/€100/£80 through ATM withdrawal transactions. This limit is the combined limit across all of your plastic cards on our program.
To summarize, in order to load more than $250/€250/£200 or to withdraw more than $100/€100/£80 through ATM transactions, the cardholder must be verified.
How do I become Verified?
To become a verified Card Holder all potential Access-Card holders will need to successfully proof their identity by submitting a national photo identification paper (POI) as well as a proof of address (POA) in compliance with EU regulations. To do that you have to login on your Access-Card account and click on ‘upgrade your account’. Becoming a verified Card Holder allows you to load more money. You can see the load limits here
On the top of that our issuer is updating their systems and this unfortunately means that they have temporarily shut down for loading the card function. All other features seem impeccable.
Loading the card function is ready again later this year, and at the same time we open up new loading card functionalities.
We are looking forward to presenting our new and improved initiatives for our customers, and apologize for any problems this may cause you.
